Turning Art Into Action
Positive Activism is a new initiative with a unique approach to funding. We partner with individuals and businesses around the world who share our vision and, in exchange for their support, provide a way to make a positive impact in South Africa.
Art connects us, inspires us and changes us. It’s how we share stories, it’s how we show love, and it’s our offering to you.
We are building a team of funders to support us as we create and develop this important initiative.
In return we want to give you an exclusive artwork to hang on your wall, as a reminder of the journey we are taking together.
TURNING ART INTO ACTION
Positive Activism is a new initiative with a unique approach to funding. We partner with individuals around the world who share our vision and, in exchange for their support, provide a connection back to South Africa and a way to make a positive impact.
Art connects us, inspires us and changes us. It’s how we share stories, it’s how we show love, and it’s our offering to you.
We are looking for 25 people to become our team of “founding funders” and join us as we develop this initiative through 2025.
In return we want to give you an exclusive artwork to hang on your wall, as a reminder of the journey we are taking together.

Join Our Team Of Funders
We are proud to present a curated collection of artworks by award-winning photographic artist, Thom Pierce.
Created exclusively for funders of Positive Activism, each piece in this collection is a one-of-a-kind, signed on the front and marked with the edition number "Positive Activism 1 / 1".
Artworks come with a certificate of authenticity, together with a presentation plaque. Funders will be acknowledged on our website and will receive a full colour photo book containing all projects from the year, personalised with their name or logo.

Hi, I'm Thom Pierce, a British photographic artist, living in Johannesburg.
I moved to South Africa 15 years ago, planning to only stay for a year, but I fell in love with its vibrant energy and boundless beauty, and never left.
Positive Activism is my mission to create tangible positive change in this diverse country.
